ESET Antivirus error: Analysis of application protocols will not function

Problem:

ESET may have been damaged by a virus or corruption within the program - this is how to fix this error.

ESET is no longer functioning properly and the user is receiving an error when opening that states "Analysis of application protocols will not function" and Maximum Protection is NOT ensured.

 Solution:

1. Uninstall the ESET antivirus program.

2. Restart the computer

3. Download and install the program Microsoft SubInACL.exe   http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=2351

4. Download and execute Service Repair

http://kb.eset.com/library/ESET/KB%20Team%20Only/Malware/ServicesRepair.exe

5. Restart the computer and boot to Safe Mode.

6. Delete the ESET folders from these two directory.

    C:\ProgramData

    C:\Program Files

7. Reboot the computer in Normal Boot.

8. Reinstall the ESET Antivirus program.
